ABOUT

Founded by Pamina Milenkovic, Pamina Antiques is a clothing store and curated collection of unusual historical garments from around the world.

Garments from Pamina Antiques have been acquired for film and television, including Channel 4’s period drama adaptation of A Woman of Substance.

The store is dedicated to clothing that reflects a deep understanding of the female body. Many pieces were historically made by women or for women, with attention to proportion, adornment, movement, and design.

The collection includes pieces from different countries, cultures, and time periods. Rather than staying within one era or niche, the clothing is unified by women’s craftsmanship and an appreciation of what makes a beautiful silhouette. Pamina often features Edwardian antiques, European folk dress, Eastern European embroidery, and lace in natural tones.

Pamina’s background in photography, styling, modeling, and classical art training influences the way each garment is selected and presented. She is fascinated by how clothing holds the power to compose an image, shape the body with intention, and create atmosphere in a photograph, performance, or film.

Today, Pamina Antiques works with costume designers, stylists, performers, collectors, and women seeking one-of-a-kind garments.
