Antique Floral Appliqué Net Lace Overdress, c. 1910s

A rare antique white lace sheath dress dating to the early 20th century. Made from sheer net lace, the dress features floral appliqué motifs, oval and shield-shaped medallion panels, and delicate scalloped edging and draped short sleeves throughout. Designed to be worn over a separate slip or underdress, the piece reflects the early 20th-century fashion for transparent lace layers and soft columnar silhouettes influenced by Directoire / Empire dress.

Condition:
Very good antique condition. Due to the delicate net lace construction, there are a couple of minor holes and age-related wear present. Please review photos carefully, especially around the lace appliqué, netting, and sleeve edges.

Care:
Handle gently due to age and delicate net lace construction. Professional textile cleaning recommended. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or bleach.
