An antique Edwardian lingerie dress dating to approximately c. 1900. Made from fine, semi-sheer white cotton lawn, the dress has a high neckline, long sleeves, a softly gathered skirt, and a back closure with small discreet buttons. The bodice is beautifully worked with vertical pintucks and delicate whitework embroidery, while the skirt is finished with horizontal bands of pintucking and sheer insertion near the hem.
