A sheer lawn cotton chemise, dating to c. 1920. Trimmed with bobbin tulle lace, this piece features a romantic drop waist accented with a narrow lace band. A hand-embroidered ‘JM’ monogram, surrounded by soft rose motifs, adds a personal historic detail. The piece closes at the crotch with original mother-of-pearl buttons and can be worn as elegant lingerie or a fine layering garment.
