Jeanne, 1895

An antique Edwardian mixed lace blouse dating to c. 1895–1905. The front and back are worked with floral and rose embroidery in a bib-style panel, framed by an open crochet web and floral lace body. The blouse has a high lace-trimmed collar, long lace sleeves, contrasting patterned cuffs with lace trim, a cotton peplum at the waist, and a back closure with metal snap buttons.
